We are cruising down to Tweed Heads for an overnight stay on Saturday, the 9th of April, assuming the weather is looking to be kind to us on this day.
The tides are going to be perfect for an early departure from the seaway, with high tide mid-morning on this weekend.The cruise down to the bar will take around 1 hour. We will anchor up for the night then everyone can head off at their own leisure the following day.
The Marine Rescue NSW will meet us when we arrive and escort us to an anchorage, then cook us a BBQ at Old Boat Harbour Park at Fingal.
There will be a small fee for participating in the trip. This will be donated to the Marine Rescue NSW for their services and a videographer who will make a little film clip of the overnight excursion for us all the cherish.
